What We Believe

We believe both the Old and New Testaments are the only reliable and truthful authority of God and we study the Word daily to guide us in our conduct. The Bible is the basis for all we believe in.

We believe the Holy Spirit is God’s personal presence in the world and the only way to live the Christian life is by God’s power within us. Every believer can be filled with the Holy Spirit and we strive for a daily dependence on God’s Spirit to convict us of sin and unbelief, empowering us to experience, know, become like and testify about Jesus.

There is only one true God, the great “I AM”, creator of heaven and earth and the rescuer of mankind revealed to us as the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. God is passionate about reconciling people to Himself and has an eternal plan for your life.

We believe that all people were created in the image of God in order to reflect His compassion, love and goodness, but we are unable to do so because of the corruption of sin. The church is a place where people from all walks of life come together in community to worship God, to demonstrate God’s love and compassion for one another and to tell others how Jesus can impact their lives.

Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily died on the cross as a substitute to pay for our sins. He rose from the dead and is our only way to God. By His death and resurrection Jesus delivers us from sin and death and remains alive today as the leader of his Church. He baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit and will soon return to earth to fulfill prophesy. Jesus’ model of intimacy with the Father, obedience to His will, and unconditional love for people provides the perfect example for his followers to imitate.
